No Sudden Move Detroit, 1954, a group of criminals are brought together under mysterious circumstances and have to team up to uncover what's really going on when their simple score goes completely sideways.
Directed by Steven Soderbergh (“Ocean’s Eleven”) With Don Cheadle, Benicio Del Toro, John Hamm, David Harbour, Ray Liotta
7/10 Slow-burn noir. Well acted, detailed 1950s talk, wardrobe, sets, cars. References to auto industry, urban renewal, racial strifes, post-WW2 economic frenzy. Double-crossings, triple-crossings even. Lots of talking, not much action. The ending doesn't live up to the set up.
PS Ray Liotta should get banned from playing mob guys.

Lol. This is almost exactly how I felt about it. Great movie but Liotta just comes off cartoon-ish these days. To be honest I haven't liked any of his mob related roles since Henry Hill.
