Massino has got to be the undisputed number one. Given that he is a rat, I'm surprised this has not already happened. There's also I think a subcategory beneath this - i.e. Sal Vitale; he'd offer many of the same stories from a different perspective. A notch down in the subcategory, Frank Lino would also have some stories to tell.

Palermo would be interesting as well given the DeCavalcante/Gambino dynamic going on at the time.

Calabrese would be a rare window into Chicago, that would be very good too.

DiLeonardo is also a great choice.

The Andrea Scoppa book which is now out in French but will be released in English in about six months will, for the first time, shine light on Montreal from an insider's perspective.

Massino's testimony is enough for me, if he does a book he'll just lie, like they all do.
