Possible but the police officer in the town where the meeting took place had been harassing the owner of the home where ht meeting was held for quite a while after hearing he was a mafia member. It was one of those small insular towns, not hospital to outsiders, plus all those people flying in form all over the country must have raised a flag to the feds that something was up. The amazing thing is how the people at the meeting reacted, running away instead of just sitting there and continuing on as if nothing was happening. They were obviously there for a mob get together, but they would never have been found guilty of any crime for being there, The ones who tried to run off changed the whole dynamic of how the story was covered.

The real question is who else out there do we believe is a standup guy buts really been an informant for decades...obviously it’s the guys that never go to jail,while everyone else around them goes away...IMO that means the Lapianas and the Lancelottis of the world....strictly an opinion....

Lombardozzi being a rat is not proven, it is just a gimmick.

Do some research. It is likely he was. It’s not 100% proven but it definitely points that way.

Most fo the hints at it could come from the wire used to record him or a person with him, often the FBI names a wire after the primary subject of the wiretap. The rest comes from internet wannabe detectives trying to see who it could be that gave info. As soon as the rumor starts it takes off.

I’ve never heard about any wire on him. The documents which you can find on mary Ferrell point towards him.

HI Raven, what I was referring to is the FBI giving the name of a source to any wiretap to their target. So if a wiretap was placed with the primary purpose of getting Lombardozzi, his name would be listed as the source, even though he was not informing. I looked at the Mary Farrrell documents, the rat rumor is all guess work and and over reaching by people online trying to "Discover" who a rat was. Also he was harassed and targeted by the FBI right until his death. she was even thrown into a case and arrested with no solid evidence pointing to him, on that case they were eventually forced to release him. Not because he was informing, but they had nothing from the start. He died shortly after.
