In the past decade when people talk about the Canadian mafia they usually talk about the Rizzutos in Montreal, but with the downfall of Rizzutos Ndrangheta in Toronto would have become the dominant power in the mafia, but just how powerful they really are? Since Toronto has a significant Italian population of 500,000, Ndrangheta should have a stable and rich recruit pool in the city, which is essential for maintaining the influence of the organization.
How do they compare to other major organized crime groups in Toronto like the Hells Angels? What role do they play in the local drug trade? Also how does the Siderno Group really work? Do they work as a single crime family or are they a loose alliance of different Ndrines? Since the heads of the Commisso clan are currently in jail, who is the most powerful figure in the Toronto Ndrangheta?

The Toronto ndrangheta is definitely the most significant and powerful group in the greater Toronto area. They often work in tandem with the biker clubs, as there is a lot of Italians that join the clubs in the gta. These clubs include the hells angels mostly, but also lesser known clubs such as the loners and vagabonds. However, while the hells aren’t under the ndrangheta per se, they often play second fiddle. For instance, according to testimony from the CI known as Carmine guido, one of his relatives owed some hells angels a fairly large gambling debt. On one occasion, cosimo commisso was talking with Carmine guido at an event in a banquet hall, and the bikers saw this and told guidos relative not to worry about paying back the debt. Nobody wants a problem with cosimo as he commands a lot of respect and can be very dangerous. They are heavily involved in the importation of cocaine, but mostly they control a very large portion of gambling. They use places such as members only cafes in industrial parks to do this gambling. They are in plain sight and the regional police likely are paid off. And yes they are a loose alliance of different ndrine, however they are almost all related to each other. For instance a good friend of mine who’s in a connected family has relatives who are commisso, relatives who are figliomeni, and relatives who are coluccio. It’s a giant sidernesi extended family and that’s why few rats are there. Carmine guido was one of few “outsiders.” This is also a reason why many Italians join 1% biker clubs in Toronto, because it’s very difficult to rise up in these ndrine if you are not blood related/calabrese from siderno. They still have several hundred members and close associates though. If I were to say one guy with a lot of power it would be cosimo commisso. He is not in control of the other ndrine but he has most influence from what I can tell.

This is all very interesting info! If a person is not blood-related or not Calabrese, could he still be made in Ndrangheta? or would he always remain as an associate? Also isn`t Cosimo doing time in Italy now? Hard to imagine him controlling the whole operation from that far away.

Any truth to Cosimo Ernesto Commisso having of been involved with the Loners MC in Woodbridge prior to his murder, specifically with some Raposo?

Could of been related to Legal Weed, might even be the reason there was a contract on Saverio Serrano? and Tony Large?

Raposo and Commisso were working together to gain space in the legal weed sector, convince ‘the board’ that Serrano was a problem and needed to go, ended up killing the woman with him, instead! That’s why in retaliation Commisso and that Almedia woman were killed?

I find it interesting that clubs like the Loners or Vagabonds still exist. During the timeframe when all this was happening, I knew a guy, still know him, who became an OLMC Fullpatch quit, became a Loner MC Fullpatch quit, brings an OC Gang from New Zealand to Canada (Mongrel Mob) quits and is now a OLMC Fullpatch again lol

The guy now is walking around in full Outlaw colors again, as if he didn’t do that to any of the clubs, as well as Hells Angels having no problem with the Outlaws, so strange, it’s not like that anywhere else that both Hells Angels and Outlaws exist in the same Ecosystem. Maybe the mob controls the Outlaws, just like they do to the HA?

I don’t know if guys know that about those clubs in Canada,, but based on basic member intake around the world, at least from major Clubs like the Outlaws that’s highly suspicious. First to join and quit is dangerous, but joining two other OC 1%er clubs and be alive, let alone rejoining the original club you quit, sounds like some undercover lol

I know that the cops and bikers in Quebec and the Golden Horseshoe are basically brothers, with all the cops involved in legal weed, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the same throughout the whole province of Ontario, caution should be considered IMO.

Guys like this guy, Clint Younge in Hamilton (he’s original from NYC), pretty sure he is tight with the bikers/cops(the Darkside guys/Hammertown Crew)and knew Tomassetti and Cudmore. He’s a front for them, guys a total pussy tho, birds of a feather 🪶 flock together.

In Sicily, women are more dangerous than the shotgun.
