An old timer takes us around the neighbourhood, around the 3:45 mark he discusses how the mafia used to run the neighbourhood. Good insight to a bygone era.

Many Neighborhoods were exactly the same. I can name many in Brooklyn alone. To Say he didn't know about the drugs is wrong, You knew about it especially being around these guys, but it was our choice to stay away from those who did. It was interesting to those that never experienced it back in the day.

Hey guys the rest of the video tour of the gentleman's old neighborhood.
Around the 27:44 Mark in the video, they mention Joe Lacasio as being the main guy in the neighbourhood.

They mention him being the brother of the main guy, or so it sounded to me. A good observation on your part though, I have trouble watching any video that long.

I just showed it to a friend, he said the guy on the left with Locascio in that photo is a sports announcer named Atlas, can anyone verify that?

Teddy Atlas? He trained Tyson way back in the day. Gravano tried to get his hooks into him but couldn't.

What's the time stamp of the photo you're talking about? Atlas has a distinct look.

27:48 mark, it is a photo from many years ago, perhaps 1990? He is on our far right in the picture

It's hard to see but if someone said that's Atlas then it has to be Teddy. Gravano has a beef with him from years back. He was Tyson's trainer before don king took him away.

The friend I asked is an Albanian-American who was a waiter in that area back in the old days, he said Atlas hung out with wise guys there a lot, many of them Albanians born here. The man in the middle may have been an Albanian fighter they hooked up with Altas. According to him Atlas was close to them before he met Gravano. He said he has no idea at all who that man giving the tour is, but it was a very mixed area, with a strong Latin population there also. I think that area was very Italian at one time, maybe up until 1960's? Obviously if Frank Locascio was around there it did have some Mafia presence. Anyone know if Locascio grew up there?

It was Atlas's 11 year old niece.
