Just hear news that the infamous C-Team co-leader Tommy Taylor died in Florida at the age of 82. For those who don’t know, Taylor and his partner Thomas Torpey (the 2 T’s) were close Irish-American associates, body guards and muscle of the LCN family who later attempted to take control of Rochester, NY during the last days of the A/B Wars. They succeeded in hiring “Mad Dog” Sullivan to whack one of the city’s top capos at that time, but ultimately went to prison in 1985.

Last year there was a book about Taylor released entitled “Enter The C-Team” which was partially narrated by Taylor himself. Interesting guy.
