I'm not saying weather he should be released or not, but there's killers half his age that are being released healthy..NY State is releasing cop killers etc... I doubt they let him go, as much as he should be released. They let out younger and way more dangerous people. He is in for killing a gangster, not for intentionally killing a civilian. Plus he is no longer a threat, although they will claim he is. Yes, cop killers, domestic and foreign terrorists, rapists, they all are given more leniency than him and other mob guys. 30 years served and he is senile and sick. It probably will not matter to them.

It's really ironic that in the photo of him form 1992 the FBI agent arresting him is Lindley DeVecchio. He backed Scarpa and gave him information to help him in the feud.
. I know we don’t agree much but I agree it’s very ironic. Devecchio is a real piece of crap. Many NY cops(like my father) were disgusted how he was not only keeping Scarpa on the street but helping him in the war Agree, I don't know when that information was made public, I assume it was after the photo accompanying the news story was published.

@Jace;
I agree; His victims were rival gangsters.
He has served 30 years in the can and is a sick; old man.
Let him enjoy the rest of his days with his children; grandchildren; and great grandchildren...
I know alot of people arn't going to agree with me...
