Why did Joe Bikini punch DeMeo? All these notes lately on their altercation aren’t really clear it seems to be pretty interesting someone got the best of someone so feared by others. Joe Bikini was in the porno industry and also DeMeo but Roy wasnt made so Brocchini punched him and make him a black eyes thinking that what could do a simple associate beh he was wrong. Yea that’s the same sentence repeated from the other posts/books. Seems to be something missing surprised no one knows any more details.

You want to know the exact words that Brocchini said to DeMeo? Brocchini was a feared made man in the Lucchese family and DeMeo a simple car theft,drug and porno dealer but not yeat the feared DeMeo crew leader,so maybe Brocchini felt that demeo doesn't respect him or simply wanted to punch an associate that can't do anything.This was the made men doing in the old way using his status for rob,steal,punch the associate,oly that this associate had Nino Gangi that backed him to kill Brocchini.

You should write an article about it NYM. It'd be interesting to go into details of each killings.I'm sure you can dig up some interesting stuff. Something should aslo be done on Furio's hit lists of every family. It's very well documented and it tells us a lot about the situation and the evolution of these families. You guys should get in touch with each other and make a nice article for your website. One of these days I may sit down and try, but with literally thousands of gangland murders its too daunting a task. So thats why I specialize and pick one "war" or conflict at a time to write about NYMafia for me a good chart would be one in which are listed the times when the FBI arrested someone using undercover agents that posed as fake mobstets.

I don't trust Henry Hill's account of anything. He his the one and only source for the killing. I think they may killed a person, probably a guy in the drug rackets over a dumb bar fight, but I don't think it was anyone made, or that DeSimone was tricked into thinking he was going to get made in order to kill him. I wonder if Henry Hill's book version of events (Which differ from the movie) are in his original briefings from when he began to rat? In [i]the book I think DeSimone killed the so-called Billy Bats 2 weeks after the "shine box" argument in a different bar. [/i] Been awhile since I last saw the film but isn't Batts bar beating , a different day from the shinebox scene??

Nah it’s the same evening in the film but in the book (irl too?) batts was killed weeks and maybe months after the initial dust up.

Well.....Nino told Roy he could Kill Joe Bikini if he wanted to but to make sure it couldnt be traced back to them (hence Roy and Henry Borelli made it seem like an attempted robbery). HOWEVER, had the hit been traced back to Roy - I'm 100% sure that Nino Gaggi would have said something like "I'm sorry Paul (Castellano) but I knew NOTHING about this. I really dont know what Roy is playing at?.......I'll take care of him"
