On orders from Big Paul , Roy DeMeo and Anthony Gaggi killed
Jimmy the Clam and his son Jim Jim.
I guess Jim Jim lost money in drug deal with Gaggi and
The elder Epps thought because of his once good standing
In the Family he could get a ok.from Big Paul.to have them whacked

The whole episode raises questions like Jimmy the Clam
Was held well liked by Carlo Gambino.
How did he fall out of favor with Big Paul over time?

I thought Big Paul was against drug dealing and if that was
The case how come he didnt come down.on Anthony Gaggi?
I mean wasnt he going.to.Bring the hammer down on Quack Quack
And Gotti.for getting involved with drug dealing?

Because Nino was Paul's guy after Bilotti. And Eppolito Jr did that scam that duped Jimmy Carters wife.

Patsy Conte was a huge drug dealer and Paul Castellano was taking millions from him,the real drug dealing rule was he would let you if he liked you and don’t get caught and make sure to give him his cut... as for the Epplittos, Castellano never really like Eppilotto Sr. He was liked by Carl Gambino but not Castellano and once the beef came up between them and Nino and Roy, Paul didn’t give a shit so he just said clip em...

Also Epplitto Sr had once been indicted in the early 70s for setting up a clearing house for Welfare recipients who were in transitional housing and would steal theyre meager belongings and resell them as well believe he didn’t give a cut to Castellano who was his skipper at the time and this may have played a role...

No you’re correct that’s what happened. But I think The Clam for desperate and didn’t take into account how pissed off Paul was about the whole Rosalind Carter thing to begin with
