Do the italian-american still got some street gangs in US cities like NYC?

For exemple, in the 90s, there was an italian-american street gang named the Bath Avenue Crew, composed of young italo-americans. They were associated with the Bonanno family.
Do those kind of street gangs still exist?

I doubt it, there really isn't many Italian ghettos left, and that's the mob's recruitment pool. They've mostly fled to the suburbs and assimilated into American culture. Gangs like that are never meant to be permanent, like established street gangs such as Latin Kings and Vice Lords. They're just cliques of guys from the same neighborhood committing crimes together looking to make the big leagues, i.e. join an established Mafia family. These are my thoughts anyway.

Back when I was growing up in the 80's there were some Italian gangs around and a few Irish too. I seriously doubt they even exist anymore. As stated by Dilly they all moved to the suburbs and young kids barely leave their houses anymore. Different world.

The 10th and O in Philly and the C Notes in Chicago are a good examples.

The others are just farm crews for each family and was made by wiseguys sons.
