Its been said that illegal gambling activities in all its forms is the very lifeblood of the American mob.

Well, I've been working on just such as expose....And it's almost ready to go into the hopper for design.

So you guys are gonna have some enjoyable material to read. And I suspect that it's gonna be an eye-opener on the gambling rackets as well. This is an elaborate expose

It should be up for your enjoyment by early next week.

Does the legalization of gambling (companies like Draft Kings) hurt the mob's grip on it? It seems that it would, but maybe they have found away to profit from it.

MonsterUSMC,

I've had that discussion at length with friends and in our opinion no it doesn't. The mob will take a bet without paying up front (you better square things away if you lose) a casino or other legal enterprise for the most part will not. So the degenerate gambler which the MOB prays on still go to them. Then the loan shark, then ….

you're very correct majicrat. Although gambling is becoming legal, and the mob is definitely taking a hit, the fact remains that between the convenience of betting on credit, the difference in the spread or "line" on occasion, the "tax-free" wins if you hit your game, and the fact that if jammed up, you can pay on extension by paying a 'vig'

an illegal bookmaker still is attractive to some folks

Outright degenerate gamblers at some point will be blacklisted from the legal gambling establishments, but these people will still want to gamble. And that's where and when the mob comes into play, the legalization of gambling be damned. And the type of degenerate gambler I'm speaking of is way more numerous than a lot of people realize, so there's a ton of money to be made from illegal gambling.
