I think maybe because I grew up in philly during the mob wars that it would have made a way better movie than goodfellas.
Joe Pecsi would have made a great nicky scarfo what other parts would you have cast for the rest of the philly guys. maybe anthony Quinn as Bruno.

There were conversations about this last time Phil Leonetti was in Atlantic City a few years back he was with some of the same guys that were involved in his book .

It just has not gained momentum in Hollywood or New York I believe was Bernstein that said it not long ago .

The people involved and on the fring would love this story to be on big screen but if the right director and writers don’t get on it ....that shit could flop and blow one of the true gangster stories ever .
