Michael McCollum is the guy. His dad was a hardcore biker and outfit associate. Book hopefully coming by end of year. He apparently grew up in the life, both biker and outfit, eventually was the Sargeant At Arm's for Chicago Hells Angels during the war years (90's).
Was ordered to kill his best friend Mel Chancy and quit instead. Then went back to outfit side of things and started robbing area 81 guys. Went to prison, at some point actually became Outlaws Gary Indiana president.
Hopefully it's well written. This podcast has a few episodes with him, audio sucks on this one.
Says "Tough" Tony Callabrese was his mob guy. His father ran a Cicero crew and it's not the same ones as the Family Secrets case, if that helps any of you guys know who he's talking about?
If I got it straight, this Tony eventually died in prison. He didn't rat to get out. McCollum says he found out while in prison himself that Tony had done a hit on a mother, shot her in the face and he changed his outlook on his friend after that, if I'm getting this right.
