From NY Jersey Boston and RI have gravelly voices when they grow up in the city?

A long time ago, some mobster on video said somewhere that the reason their voices are gravelly is because long ago they had something like tonsillectomies done incorrectly on many kids. Not making this up.

My iPhone on voice text knows my graveling jersey accent , sometimes I have to add or change a word but yeah maybe something too it.

Is it possible these phones are learning or predicting what we’re going to say or how we’re going to say it ?

Then I could just have a heavy accent from NE and being Italian ..
