Thanks to Ciment.
I think that what happened in Canada is more than a simply mob war only in quebec or ontario but a national mob war.

I dont think Angelo D'Onofrio was ever involved. He just looked a little too much like someone else and was shot accidentally.

So many deaths. So many unsolved. Crazy how all that can happen like it's the 70s in America.

They started killing Vito allies when Vito went back started killing the men that killed his friend and allies and so on. The problem is that every man had a friend or a parent that was whacked and in the italian mafias the revenge or vendetta is sacred and there are no commission to stop the killings.
In sicily there worst thing to say to mobster is "we eat and drink while our parents eat earth".

Wow, something like 75 dead in Montreal.

I'm thinking the police might be letting things play out like they did during the Biker War, and then charge who is ever left for multiple murders. That's assuming there are ppl left alive at the end of this.

During the Biker War, they used bombs, and innocent ppl were killed and they also killed a couple prison guards and Mom Boucher wanted to kill judges, prosecutors, police etc. The Mafia basically conducts targeted hits on themselves, so the police might just let it go for a while longer.

Interesting, familiar to the Blood Code Chechen and other Caucasus nationalities have. If you kill another man in Chechnya, oldest man of his family(in case no men alive anymore, woman can start killing too) must avenge his death by killing the murderer. Even if the murderer dies of natural causes, then his oldest son must be killed. But the killing can be stopped if the family of the killed man forgives.

Vito was the mediator, the man of compromises but since the Vito death nobody as the charisma or the power to mediate a peace between Calabrians and Sicilians. For sure the Siderno group won't easly stop to try to conquest the quebec.
