Hi guys,
First post, just joined today. My dad was John Deep, he passed away in 2000. He ran the gambling operations for Bobby I and later on worked with Junior Williams in the 70's and 80's. I've been browsing the forums and enjoy reading a lot of the stories that everyone posts. I was hoping to come across someone that may have more information regarding the Pittsburgh gambling scene back then. I have plenty of stories that I'd love to share. I've done some digging and the the below articles are the only ones that I could find regarding Bobby I, my dad and his partner Chuck.

I have a couple pictures of my dad and Junior Williams at deer camp that I can find and post. I also have a lot of photos of the camp my dad built for Junior in Tionesta, PA, I doubt any one would be interested in those. No pictures of Bobby I. My dad told me once that Bobby would never let anyone take a picture of him and that he looks like Joe Paterno.

I knew that Junior had a hunting camp in Tionesta but I didn't know your Dad built it for him. In fact I heard that Junior looked at the camp in Tionesta that Joe Pecora built for his dad, Charlie.

Oh ya, Charlie's Roost right? My brother told me that he was in there a few times with my dad, I may have been but I was way too young to remember. My dad was a contractor and built the camp in Tionesta. Junior had a place in Seven Springs also, I remember going there once for New Years when I was younger.

Something has gone sideways with PhotoBucket and some of the pics I posted, like my Avatar of Zebo, have been deleted.
Quite a while ago I posted several pics of Charlies Roost and the "Family Friends" I grew up with. I'm sure you would enjoy them if you're able to pull them up.

I’d definitely like to see them. I’ll dig up the pictures that I have and I’ll try to get them posted. Are you from the Tionesta area?

The near-demise of the Pittsburgh LCN took place about a decade or so too early. The place is now booming, more casino business, and maybe legal gambling on the horizon.

Pittsburgh is one of the top places to live in the US. I wonder if the new miillennials have the same bad habits their forefathers had?
