We had a thread on this I may have started it. My uncle had a friend whose father was Sicilian mafia he was sentenced to life in what was called the “bandit town†I was young when they talked about it. So I did not pay too much attention to the place in Italian.
It was just a wide open town that was guarded by the army. It was like the roach motel you can check in but you can’t check out.
You could gamble it had whores to fuck it had everything but you could not leave. It even hah weapons and guns.
My uncles friend said his father was shot in the head after a fight. Then the crazy thing his bones were there. But they had to be taken care of by relatives or they destroy them. I saw pictures of his son cleaning his father’s bones. It shows the son puting his finger in his father’s skull nuts right but true as I remember it.

Do Italian prisons let people wear regular clothes?
Yeah that is common in Europe. Here you could even wear some simple jewelery, including a simple analog watch (without recording, reception, transmit and data storage), two rings, a necklace, a bracelet.
