Did these guys co-exist with the scam? Franzese says he started it n Casso says he had the Russian gangster killed for extorting the Russian guy who was with the mob doing the scam together. I have neither heard Franzese or Casso mention each other when talking bout the gas racket. Does anyone have any insight?

I have never heard one mention they other in regards to the gas tax scam, even when they were testifying one after the other.

But I think that testimony tells us why. Franzese was in the business from 1980 to the mid-eighties and Casso got started in the mid-eighties.

In that Brooklyn Russian gangsters episode it said that Franzese was pushing that russian out and wouldn';t work with him so he went to Casso and then he had too !!

I was talking about this earlier. Like somebody said, it seems as though they never worked together on it.

Michael Franzese said that he had Russians Involved in the Gas Tax Scam. He will tell you that even today.
