All kidding aside, I'm looking forward to this book that's coming out in December about the history of Cosa Nostra in the state of New Jersey, called Garden State Gangland by Scott M. Deitche.

The big heist about vincent asoro was good but it was just a reshash of a few books about joe massino and the bonannos. Theres only probaly 40 pages about vinnys trial which was very interesting his and his blood familys positiin in the lcn history. His trial should have been alot longer there was a ton of witnesses.

They better have some SUPER rare photos in that book. I paid like $17 to read Leonetti's book and that was straight from the horse next to the horse's mouth.

I will wait for reviews before I splurge for the same rehashed stuff....I am interested if it maybe gives a different perspective on the Bobby Manna issue. I work in Hoboken and see the place where he got wiretapped.

My gut says that it is DEFINITELY possible that Scarfo was in on the hit for Testa.......I know Chicken Man was his close friend but if he could whack his son and seriously ponder whacking his nephew before he flipped, ANYTHING is possible. Just my opinion.

that book about the chin that came out last year was ok. nothing too groundbreaking but a solid look at the guys life with the info available.

In June next year Anthony M. DeStefano's new book Top Hoodlum: Frank Costello, Prime Minister of the Mafia.

Broke down and finally bought the book "Scores" by Michael Blutrich. I thought he was suppose to be a pedophile? There is absolutely no mention of that in the book. Anderson Cooper even provided a blurb endorsing the book. Surprised how many 5 stars reviews he has on Amazon. Book was so so and at times humorous. Would have probably enjoyed if it was written or co written by the actual guys who shook down Scores. I think he was totally clueless in what was happening there.

Gotti jr’s book was a very good read- he seemed to give his honest opinion on most things whereas his sister Victoria’s book was just a fantasy in her mind
