It's not about skin color but culture and familiarity. Many of these guys grew up together, knew each others families, and could vouch for each other. It made LCN strongvand kept rats out for decades. Many still refuse to rat because of friendships and family. For every rat there are 25 that don't rat.

I understand what you're saying, however Jeff did not fit that mold. He was a local drug dealer and thug that Bernie originally recruited to bring his fellow drug dealers to the All American Club so he could take them off at the Barbut table. They later became part of Bernie's crew that wacked Ernie.

And out of the 25 that don't rat, 10 haven't being tested.

It's easy not to rat when you haven't served any more than 2 or 3 consecutive years in prison at a time, or when you don't have anything to offer the government.

There's already white guys in Crips/Bloods banner. Matter of fact, Crips/Bloods are truly an all American group contrary to what so many people think. They never built on exclusive ethnicity so anybody can join. Hence why there are Mexican,Somoan,Asian,White, & Belizian amongst a host of others. Belize is the only Carribean country that I know of is predominantly Crips & Bloods with LEGIT roots.

You must not be very in tune with underworld politics or the "street", white guys have been trusted and accepted members of both groups pretty much for about 40+ years. It's a common thing now to see white bloods/crips, hispanic bloods/crips, etc.

I know white crips , bloods, kings , trinis. It's common. Matter of fact I know some straight shooters, guys who have put in work for al of these gangs and hold leadership positions. Sinatra is on point.

As said countless times on this forum, stop looking to news articles as the end all-be all. A lot of what they write is just flat out wrong. I know white bloods & crips from the Compton who were jumped in, etc, and are very well respected by their fellow members. Not only that, but you're linking an article from over 10 years ago, as an example that Crips & Bloods don't permit white members, it's 2017.

I also know a bunch of white bloods, crips, and kings. I was in prison with them, and grew up with a few. Watch lock up New Jersey the Bergen county jail one. David goodell aka Super Dave as he's known around my way... who is from Passaic and is now in Trenton doing 45 years for killing his ex after meeting her while he fled from the haft say house he was in... he's blood, a killer before he killed his ex... and has both respect and fear on the streets and behind the wall. That's one example. Some sets won't allow it. Most do. Blood started from the panthers. It's their history.
