I've tried contacts for a week like 5 years ago. It is even more irritating than putting make up on in the morning. Zia, I was really fond of those half blind looking for them on the floor. Plus, my eyes got seriously irritated. I left them in the case and never checked on them. I'm even terrified to open the cases. They must've gone bad anyway...

I got my glasses in the 11th grade. I think if I hadn't used them my eyesight might have stopped getting worse. Once you try glasses, there is no way out.

I'm sorry to read that, XDC. Had he been sick?

Really sick, actually. It didn't come as a shock to anyone. He had some type of bone cancer that he'd been battling for a couple years. He entered stage 4 last year, I believe. His health has been deteriorating since then.

There was an incident at a hospital where he had broken his arm, and in the process of stabilizing it, and moving him to another bed, the doctor's accidently broke his other arm. That's how frail he was.

He hadn't eaten anything the past few days. Just some Italian ice. We got the phone call last night that he passed away.

It was expected, but that doesn't provide much comfort.
