I'm a little exaggerating, but really, it is totally weird to me to drink tea with ice, when cold tea has always been considered "gone bad" where I was raised.

She's really got into incense sticks at the moments and yesterday I entered the kitchen to a big cloud of smoke. I thought it never usually, cough, gets like this. My mum tells me "I don't like these new smelly's". I look over to the cooker and see what's happened. I tell her "You silly women you've only gone and set a box of eggs on fire that you've left too close to the oven".

She'll be the death of me I'm sure.

It's fun living with people like that; it's always an adventure, right?

Got tomorrow off, Monday off, a nice bonus...A great Christmas, for a change (so far!)

I've been buying New Year presents.
It's quite a story to talk my dad into buying shoes, and I was summoned by mom as a reserve of common sense, who will finally shout "Heaven and hell, just buy it!!!". Of course, there's no going shopping with me without buying something for me...
To the end of day I felt awful, unable to spend as much money as I want on absolute nonsense, filled with candys they give at "ecco" and finally a sbarro pizza. Dunno what will be with me now.

I returned from a road trip to New Mexico yesterday. Will post a couple of photos later.

I LOVE my job at West Point. I worked Tuesday through yesterday and all I did up there was watch DVDs on my portable DVD player. I finished 24 Season 4 in 3 days and watched Some Kind of Wonderful and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

How was it. Also, have you seen the movie? My day is going from bad to worse rather quickly

Got my first speeding ticket the other day. Was running past my curfew, and driving my friend home. Got stopped on the highway by a state trooper; 70 in a 55. I didn't have my proof of insurance on me, so that was another ticket of about $360. Should be able to take care of the expensive one, though. I thought it was bad until I realized that last night (New Years Eve), a friend of the friend who was in the car with me got pulled over for 50 over. 85 in a 35 is what the trooper caught him as. We're laughing at his stupidity. Speeding, and of all nights to be speeding: New Years Eve.

One more day of winter break.

My plan is to stay up tonight until...forever. Then, tomorrow won't come, and thus, school won't come.

It won't be that bad - I'm looking forward to seeing some people again - I just always hate thinking about it during my last days of vacation.

Any other kiddos going back?

Don't tell me that! Well, school let out for us on the 16th, so maybe that's the difference...or just different scheduling of days off. Well, enjoy it for me!

TIS, at least you're not marching in the Rose Parade! Or are you? It's pouring down there.

Ha ha, no Gina, no Rose Parade for me. The poor people tho, not to mention the Roses are gonna get drenched. Right now it's 10:00 a.m. and the sky is so dark it looks like it's almost dusk. The wind is unbelieveable too. Wouldn't be surprised if I lose my internet connection.

I'm soooo glad I took another week off. It's a great day to stay home.

Yeah, I had school until the 23th. So it's 2 weeks for the both of us, you don't have to be jealous.
Anyways, I now for sure it won't be that bad, it's only school you know

I'm sure all of the people involved in the parade are experiencing twice the amount of stress expected. I was watching mainly to see all of the bands, and I really feel for them as I think about the instruments and uniforms getting all wet. Brass is okay to play in the rain, but woodwinds aren't supposed to - I saw one saxophone covered with a plastic bag as the student played.

Enzo, I'm still jealous, because I used all of my vacation up already. I'm mainly fearing school because I procrastinated the entire break - I've got 100 pages to read for History by this Thursday, which could've easily been done weeks ago, and I've hardly practiced my clarinet.
