I don't want to make it sound bad for you, but yes, I am in a little pain now. I've been taking painkillers and other pills 'round the clock, too. Weird thing is, it's just one tooth (or tooth "area") that hurts: my bottom left side. I can't even see the top ones, but I looked at the bottoms, and there are actually holes visible, or "sockets," or "plugs," in my gums! It mainly hurts when I eat (which I just did), but it's starting to feel better now, with an ice pack on the side of my mouth. Water and most drinks make it hurt, but tea seems to be soothing. I've had a completely soft food diet today, but hopefully I can do some heavier eating tomorrow. When you get yours done, be sure to let us know how you're doing, and maybe I can provide some tips, advice, and of course, support. Well, I'll probably only get a few more posts in, if any, tonight, because I've got to get to bed, but thanks for checking in with me.

I heard a commercial on the radio yesterday of a dentist promoting some new drug or something for people who are afraid of the dentist that will put you in half sleep state where you won't feel anything. Yeah, you also won't feel them copping a feel or molesting you. I don't trust being put under like that for a dentist.

I've also been reading about dentists that use a laser drill, which is completely painless. However, my dentist told me that it can only be used on certain cavities since it can't get into certain spots.

Thanks Turi! The whole Asia is easy, but this is only the third time we made it. It is shameful for a country that its popular sport is football (soccer). It is still huge! I love this coach, Branco Ivankovic. He did a wonderful job. I wish I could get to him and give him a kiss!
The last time we made it was not this easy. We had a match with Australia and we were behind 2-0 and we needed a draw. They made it like last minutes, but until the game was over we were so anxious and I was squeezing hand of my friend as we're sitting in the college theater watching TV. In most cities people were cheering and dancing that afternoon, as they were doing yesterday evening. It was one of my best memories.

I was a little (because I get a 45 minute lunch break) but I felt bad for the guy. There was 1 guy running the front and like 3-5 others in the back cooking. As soon as I got there the line was out of the little "maze" that they make you walk through. And this guy had to pretty much take care of everyone himself. He'd take the orders, then have to take the food and put it on a tray or bag and yell out the numbers. So the guy would help about 6 or 7 people by taking their orders, then turn around and give them their food because it was ready by the time he hit number 7. So the line would be slowed down. I was pretty pissed, but after waiting a few minutes I said, "screw this, I've waited this long, I'm getting my food." Then a couple of guys in front of me only speak spanish and that took awhile because the guy taking the orders couldn't understand him and screwed up the first spanish speaking guys order. However, when all was said and done I got up and ordered and I didn't wanna give the guy a hard time (he was 1 remark away from kicking somebody's a$$). But I got my food and it was good. Although I don't know if it was 40 minutes wait worth good!

But now I'm pissed! At work I sit at my boss's secretary's desk who's out having a baby now. I get to work today and my chair (with arms and the ability to bend backwards) is gone. In its place is a chair with no arms that sits straight up. In the phone room they're rearranging desks and one of the guys in there took it. I didn't say anything to him because he works full time and I'm just working the summer, but when my boss comes in later I'm gonna ask him if he said it was ok for that guy to take my chair. That's down right rude in my book and I'm pissed!

I was in your state yesterday Irishman. I visited NYC with the family. I got a shirt that had the Bada Bing logo on it and I picked up the book The way of the wiseguy! by donnie braso. But the day before I got Raging Bull which was a great movie!
