OK, there's another picture that's going to be stuck in my head. Thanks a LOT, SC!!

OUCH!! That's even more uncomfortable than the kidney stone stories!

I have to tell you, that's the problem with nude beaches. They sounds all sorts of sexy in the abstract, but you end up seeing/doing things that you are not exactly comfortable.

WOOHOO!!

After Apple last Wednesday reduced the price of the iPhone to $399 for the 8GB model (I paid $499 for the now-defunct 4GB model I got only 2 weeks ago) I went to the AT&T store to return it and get the 8GB model, and $50 back (after the 10% restocking fee)... I was a bit nervous after the first thing he said, "it's Day 15" (you can only return them in 14 days), but luckily he let me slide.

PS - And thank God!! The one I had was a little quirky -- and it locked up completely while I was in the store!! \:o

That's good, Geoff. As I said, when I first heard the news on the radio about the lower price, you came to mind immediately (don't be flattered, you're the only person I know that has one). 10% restocking fee?? That's ridiculous. I don't know how these stores get away with that one. Whatever happened to the customer coming first???

I thought of you too Geoff and am glad you got reimbursed. I must have misunderstood because I was under the impression they would reimburse $100. Anyway, I think it is only fair. I can't believe they so blatantly lowered the price...not even trying to make it look fair. \:\/

Btw, if I may be a pain again \:p what do you know about these laptop internet cards that you buy and connect anywhere? Are they worth it? Are they easy to install? I checked out one, I think AT&T and I got the impression you had to buy a plan or something. I was more thinking of traveling when you don't have a connection. I thought it was more like buying phone minutes or something. Anyway, what's your thoughts?

TIS, My husband has one through work. It is a monthly plan, just like a cell phone. I think it's $50/month. He was given two different ones to try out, one from Verizon and one from Sprint. Although we've used both companies for cellphones and found that Verizon's coverage to be MUCH better, he's found Sprint wireless card to offer better coverage. I think it would depend where you live, and who has the best coverage.

TIS, I would've gotten $100 back if I didn't have to pay $50 for the "restocking fee" -- but getting the better product, and $50 back, it's okay w/ me!

I don't have a laptop, so don't really know much about those cards. My dad just got one with wireless built-in, so it doesn't need those things.... (Never mind, we must be talking about different things...)

Thanks guys. \:\) I don't need a monthly plan. I thought if I could buy one and get "x" amount of minutes/hours it would be good for when I travel. You know, something good to have on hand. That's what I thought they were, but if they all are "plans" than I am not interested.

Elvis Presley's If I Can Dream may very well be the most inspirational song of all time.

A very inspirational song PB.

Did you happen to see the re-mix that his daughter made where she and he sing a duet version of In The Ghetto?

Lisa Marie and Elvis In The Ghetto

Yeah, great DC!!

I've been looking at youtube videos of Elvis for like the last hour. He remains one of the only non-opera singers that can move me to tears.

She did that for charity. Watch her lip when she sings, it's almost eerie how she curls it just like her father used to.

I saw her on television and she seems to have matured quite a bit since her "Michael Jackson" moment . She had HER daughter with her and the kid seems to have her shit together. It's just unreal how the three of them, Elvis, Lisa Marie and his granddaughter, all look alike!

Yeah, but I wonder if the lip curl is intentional on her part, to mimic her father, or if it's an unconscious facial mannerism she's been making her whole life, as was her father's.

Unconscious. It's natural. I don't think that anyone could get that lip curl that down pat by practicing!
