Increasingly, it's looking like the Hells are very, VERY strong right now....

They seem to be more savvy at franchising and marketing their brand. This appeals to the younger generations in joining the HA rather than a rival MC. They are not afraid to exercise force and intimidation necessary to patch over smaller MC. If they continue on this course they will be or are already a force to be reckoned with.

Not a huge biker club reader but this guy is probaly a informant or was exposed. Right. Like non of these guys just leave the club and start writting books going on cnn. I picked up that hells angels book by christie and one of the posters said he is rat gave the feds info. He swears he isnt like wgitey bulger. Its always i left the club cause lack of respect but they probaly smelled a rat and found out hes been a c.i. for a dozen years or so. Theres a dive bar down the street from my house theres probaly 5 maybe 50of them guys there on sundays think they have runs. Im guessing most of them have legit jobs. This is here in mass.

Christie is a rat there are recordings out there.

Not surprising to hear this. Outlaws are like a bull in a China shop. They really know how to drive people away from them. They are tightening their grip on Wisconsin lately. I believe they are still very strong in indiana. Minnesota is HA. Milwaukee is outlaws national chapter or whatever they call it since taco bowman got locked up.

A few years ago some Minnesota HA rode across the Wisconsin state line and back to Minnesota during a Wisconsin event. For that infraction the outlaws met them st their stop back in Minnesota, beat the fuck out of them and pulled their cuts. Should be able to google it.

HA will continue to grow but they are at odds with other clubs all over the country. I think the pagans shut down their philly chapter a few years back. Mongols probably going to war with them in Arizona soon. Iirc in Madison several years ago an HA tried to force his way into a non 1% clubhouse party and got stabbed at the door by a prospect. And that's non 1% vs the mighty HA. It's not that easy.

Looking forward to this James guys book. Bet he catches a beating for that interview...

In 2008 when they arrived in Florida, an ad featuring the club’s
winged-skull logo has appeared in a local newspaper calling for new
members. There are 21 military bases in Florida.

What about the activities of the Wheels of Soul? They also have 2 chapters ( West Side & South side) in the city and are some kind of odds with Sin City Deciples.

there's no H*ll's Angels chapter in Florida, and there's only 1 small HA chapter outside of Chicago in the suburbs, not in the city of Chicago. compare that to the OL's,who have several chapters in Chicago, and throughout the state. this article is biased,he has an agenda, the last line says it all "i'm ashamed I used to be one" sounds like sour grapes to me,or someone trying to create hype to sell books

Believe it or not, there's a Hells Angels chapter out here in Long Island where I'm from, ironically their clubhouse is in Hempstead, which is 'Hood central. I used to walk past there going to a friends house or something and the place always looked defunct, but they definitely were around because I'd see them riding up and down Hempstead Turnpike all the time. Now the place has a complete makeover, there's a huge flaming skull atop this flagpost thing, behind the big black gate they have to give them privacy I guess. There's new decals and shit on the actual clubhouse thats there, so it's obvious their getting money from somewhere, where I just don't know. And the majority of them are white guys, which means they probably aren't from the immediate surrounding area, but ride out there daily. There was also an HA bar I used to go to thats in Queens, it has an irish name, and you wouldn't think it was an HA bar until you went inside and saw the bar decorations and old guys with ponytails and beards hanging around. They definitely branch out as they opened their bar up for the public and held certain college based events on almost every weekend. But they'd be there as the security team for the night. I met some cool guys at that place. I miss those times.

CRIME
Hempstead Village biker brawl averted, Nassau police say
COMMENTS
Updated June 28, 2016 8:36 AM
By Ellen Yan ellen.yan@newsday.com

As many as 100 bikers surrounded the Hells Angels clubhouse in Hempstead Village on Sunday, ready for a clash, but left after police showed up in force, authorities said Monday about an incident that remains under investigation.

A group called the Unknown Bikers motorcycle club came “in force to retrieve vests” — clothing with colors or emblems that represent the group — after they were taken by Hells Angels on Friday night, according to an initial gang intelligence report by the Nassau County police special investigations squad, which was at the scene and is investigating.

The Unknown Bikers club is based in Brooklyn and has as its emblem a skull inside a red, horned helmet.

Hempstead Village police and about 50 Nassau officers from four precincts converged about 3:30 p.m. at the Hells Angels motorcycle club quarters on Henry Street, authorities said. Photos of the scene showed Nassau SWAT officers wearing bullet-resistant vests and carrying rifles as they walked on the roadway toward the motorcycle club.

The officers put themselves between the two motorcycle clubs, and the 80 to 100 Unknown Bikers eventually left, according to the report.

“Upon arrival of officers, bikers dispersed without incident,” said Det. Vincent Garcia, a Nassau police spokesman. “There was no fight, no injuries and officers remained until the bikers left.”

Hempstead police Monday night declined to comment

Not sure they will take over the South much less Florida. Florida used to be all Outlaws or Mongols. I know here in Alabama it's all Bandidos.

Top ten most dangerous groups list are at best entertaining but not for a concise information. Any and all 1% clubs will have hardcore members.

Opening chapters is complicated for them, its Outlaw territory. But that doesn't mean they are not there or don't have business interests there, already in the early 90s they have been talking to local real estate owners regarding the purchasing of property and establishments.

I don't believe the purpose of that article was for concise information;because the author of the article did not go into greater detail or reference.
I took it more as being the 10 most troublesome biker gangs for law enforcement officials. I agree that all 1% clubs will have hardcore members and the same can be said for any organized crime groups or hardcore street gangs.

Alright but still isn't accurate in that case. That list seems to change year to year with the exception of the big 4.

I want to ask about these clubs with 2 chapters in a large city, How does that function? Does it make it easier for recruitment? Does both Presidents have equal authority or is one more a representative for the city?

Have to remember most chapters are only like 6-12 guys. In huge cities it just makes sense to have more than one chapter if the club is strong enough.

Areas are generally under a regional president or nomads. Regional president or whatever it may be called by the specific club, likely also the president of a chapter in a big city.

In HA lore the late 60's war between Oakland and frisco is legendary. Bargers charter was Oakland and the neighboring charter had a war with them just to give an idea how unruly it can be. There is no one size fits all. It's whatever works at that given time. Exceptions to every rule.
