Always heard Russians are pretty strong these days, and how Russian organized crime become big in US, but never heard any particular name of the organizations. So is there any Russian OC syndicate in NY these days? Do they have a structure similar to LCN? Or there only exist some loose connections among Russian criminals? Also, what about Russian street gangs? Any that kind of things?

The predictions back in the 1990s about the Russians becoming the new superpower in organized crime never materialized. While the more traditional "vor" groups have a hierarchical structure, most Russian groups are fluid and horizontal. They come together for a particular scam (fraud is their specialty) and then disbanded. That's a big reason why we don't see any particular names. At least not many that last beyond one indictment.
Anyway, of one takes the time to look back through the cases in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York over the past 10 or 15 years, there are examples of Russian and Eastern European crime groups.
