This is going to be the card to end all cards, unbelievably stacked!!!
First UFC event in New York, so it has to be special, of course Mystic aka The Notorious Conor McGregor is on the card, fighting for the lightweight title against Philly native Eddie Alvarez..
There are 3 title fights and at least 3 title eliminator fights:
Lightweight: Eddie Alvarez (c) vs. Conor McGregor
Welterweight: Tyron Woodley (c) vs. Stephen Thompson
W.Strawweight: Joanna Jedrzejczyk (c) vs. KarolinaKowalkiewicz
Middleweight: Chris Weidman vs. Yoel Romero Welterweight: Donald Cerrone vs. Kelvin Gastelum
Lightweight: Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Michael Johnson
Featherweight: Frankie Edgar vs. Jeremy Stephens
Middleweight: Tim Kennedy vs. Rashad Evans
W.Bantamweight: Miesha Tate vs. Raquel Pennington
Middleweight: Tim Boetsch vs. Rafael Natal
Lightweight: Jim Miller vs. Thiago Alves
Welterweight: Lyman Good vs. Belal Muhammad
W.Bantamweight: Liz Carmouche vs. Katlyn Chookagian
That was the one guy he did not match up well against. Other then Jose Aldo my son helped train Aldo with his Brazilian Jujitsu when he worked for Shaolin Vitor Roberio's gym here in NYC.

Impressive, does your son know Matt Serra too?
He was the first American to get his BJJ black belt..
Yes, my son started training at Renzo' s Gracie gym. All three gyms are right next to each other in Manhattan including Marcelo Garcia's
My son worked a few blocks from there. He trains 6 days a week morning and at night. He has to do or is a pain in the ass. He used to get in a lot of fights on the street. Now he just rolls in the gym.
My son likes to fight with the Gi. I like the idea that he chokes guys out with their own Gi. He married one of his students she is a lawyer like my wife.
Jedrzejczyk v Kowalkiewicz and Woodley v Thompson 2 great fights
Alvarez v McGregor now stoked
"I spend a lot of time slinging everyone in the company, I've ridiculed everyone on the roster, I'd like to take time to apologize to absolutely... NOBODY" LMFAO
The guy was absolutely brilliant in that fight, no two ways about it..

I only watch three of the fights i didn't watch Tate's last fight
McGregor was dominant he is an amazing fighter, Alvarez looked scared after first left knocked him down.
Wonderboy can take some hits, I thought he won with the number of strikes he landed but Woodley caused more damage so I can see why he won.
Kowalkiewicz another one who can take hits, she fought hard but looked overmatched but landed some good shots, she is now 10-1 I would like to see a rematch but I think the result may be the same
The Dude: And, you know, he's got emotional problems, man. Walter Sobchak: You mean... beyond pacifism?
Walter Sobchak: This guy f*cking walks. I've never been so sure of anything in my entire life

Nobody won actually, they rectified it afterwards, it was a draw. So we will definitely see a rematch of that fight. Poor Woodley just can't get any love..

Gotcha yeah I felt bad he was getting booed hard, that guy is huge though. Wonderboy is an interesting fighter to watch Joe Rogan said something along the lines that his style of fight will be the future of MMA

What a card last night! Conor absolutely dominated. I can live with the Woodley/Thompson draw, but I could also agree with the judge that give him the 48-47 as well.
