An overall militarized police force in this country that doesn't seem to hesitate to pull the trigger on black suspects in a lot of instances where restraint could have been used is definitely resulting in a vigilant backlash from the black community. I don't think it's going to result in widespread conflicts nation wide, however. We've seen already that a lot of these militias who talk this doomsday stuff are just talk. These guys in Oregon thought they were going to kick off something real. As soon as they took fire and one of their guys got bodied, they tucked tail and ran home to mom. That's the reality.

Our government, along with the other nuclear powers in this world, are going to be in charge for a long time. The duration of our lifetimes, at least. But it will make for great entertainment on CNN when certain fringe groups try to change that.

When you are stopped by an officer. Do what he says. Don't argue, don't resist, just be a good little boy or girl. Talking back to an officer of the law is not a wise choice. I refused to get out of my car once until my lawyer was present. Big mistake. I was tasered, pepper sprayed, and got my ass beat. Instead of calling the papers and blaming the POlice, I said to myself: just do what they tell you and deal with the judge. As much as I dont like cops, I respect the fact that they perform a civic duty and put their lives on the line. So, whenever I get pulled over, I treat them with respect. They're only doing their job. If I don't agree with the reason they stop me for, I will go to court. The problem with society in general, (not only the blacks, African-Americans, or whatever theyre identifying themselves as today) is that too many fuck-ups are having kids that shouldnt be. Two fuck-ups lead to more fuck ups. Freedom of choice! They say. Thats fine and dandy but when you cant take care of yourself, how can you raise a someone the right way. Kids don't have respect and structure the way they used to. Run your fucking mouth to the cops and get shot to death. After all the riots and protest, youre dead. You cant fix dead. The cop loses his job but doesnt do any time. You lose! Your city is burned down, businesses leave, the cops don't want to set foot bc they're affraid of losing their lives. Some hoodlum kills an innocent bystander in a shooting or some old lady gets killed bc you got what you wanted: the POlice to leave you alone.

Most cops are on a power trip, If they violate your constitutional rights you should "flex your rights" to remind them that they are not always right and just because they want you to do something doesn't automatically mean you have to. At the same time you have to deal with those consequences and cops don't like being told hey are wrong

Sorry oak, that was 11 years ago. Before thumb drives. I was nervous handing that one in. It was gonna go one of two ways. Needless to say, I brought home an A+. The presentation on Abortion: too many or not enough?, didn't sit too well with the class. The professor gave me an A, but the class wouldnt let me finish.

A small group of protestors holding ‘White Lives Matter’ signs staged a demonstration outside the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People building in Houston on Sunday.

Holding Confederate flags and assault rifles, the group of nearly 20 people gathered in Houston to protest against the NAACP for failing to condemn the perceived role of Black Lives Matter in relation to the deaths of white police officers.

“We came out here to protest against the NAACP and their failure in speaking out against the atrocities that organizations like Black Lives Matter and other pro-black organizations have caused the attack and killing of white police officers, the burning down of cities and things of that nature,” group member Ken Reed, donning a ‘Donald Trump 16’ cap, told the Houston Chronicle. “If they’re going to be a civil rights organization and defend their people, they also need to hold their people accountable.”

Reed said the group wasn’t there to cause problems and that the Confederate flags were being flown to symbolize Southern heritage. Police cleared out the crowd around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
