Did you watch it live? I happened to cut it on in extra time and I just knew it was going to penalty kicks. That crap was NUTS! Even Muller missed his, so Italy goes up then blows the lead and lose in sudden death.

Our major is a communist he is always rooting for a communist country for that matter so is Obama.

But your talking about Italy v Germany. First half was fantastic even though no one scored. The second half Germany scored. Then for some reason the German back lifted up his arms ball hit. Have to give a pk.

Italian coach must have been on babania he let a back take it. He was not a specialist nuts. Well he made it. The German keeper is the best in the world, but he missed it. Actually I thought he played the pks wrong. Should start low stay low and react to the shot and not guess not even an educated guess.

The game was not as good as the first half. Goes for 30 minutes without a goal.

No it goes to pks. It was a joke on pks the Italian keeper was better.

But Germany won after 9 each I think.

Before the start the Italian coach sub in fresh players. I assume they we pk specialists. Turns out they were not that was stupid.

If either coach would have removed their keeper and replaced him with a garbage can. The team with the can would have won after 5 pks.

yeah caught last 20 minutes of game and the kicks.I don't know enough about soccer to know who is who but it was exciting to watch. The first soccer match I remember watching in full was Italy/Brazil WC final in 1994...if a match goes to penalty kicks I will ALWAYS watch.

Youtube is buggin out. Normally they block sports content in the country it is being broadcasted to, this time they blocked a euro cup recap in the USA. Just wanted to know who you though your favorite German Italian guy was rooting for during the game.



As far as your post about USA/Cuba friendly...the match shouldn't even be competitive. All the best athletes in Cuba play beisbol, so it's shocking to me that they even have a soccer team.

I thought the German muller played a nice game until pks. He was a striker but he played like an offensive mid. I thought Gomez was very good.

I am more into how they do as a team more then individual players.

I'm the same way. If I didn't own FIFA13 I would be lost on soccer. Half the time I'm still lost...lol

Your watching the ball not a bigger area to see what is going on by team mates off the ball. I get annoyed with US football because not enough is going on off the ball to help the dribbler.

Plus not enough skillful play. I thought Germsn v Italy in the first half was fantastic because of the skillful play. Who cares there was no score in the first half. If either team could not control the ball on the first or second touch they lost it.

The US can't do that so against either team we would like a big mess and be way behind in that half.
