what effect is this latest massacre going to have on the gun control debate,

ill bet there is going to be a big battle shaping up to ban assault weapons...........

thus could be playing right into hillarys hands, the worse thing that could have happened, has happened!!

going to be a hard sell to keep assault weapons.

These sick fucks dont discriminate on how to kill people. Today its one guy with an AR15 and a handgun, yesterday it was two brothers and a pressure cooker, tomorrow it will be a mini-army of these fucks with Rambo knives beheading a Sunday Mass. The problem isnt guns or weapons for that matter, these animals are the problems. The main goal when a new onset of massive epidemic is to understand it and then eradicate it.

I coached a lot of foreign born soccer kids who are muslems. I never saw how they were with their religion. They were just happy to play. They were the ones who had to help me carry equipment to the practice field and the game field. The other players let me carry their stuff.

I very rarely saw their parents they were busy trying to earn a living.

It was always hard for me to hate because of religion, skin color and of sexual orientation. If any of these kids were gay they never did anything that would let people know it.

The only time one of the players seemed prejudiced against another player was with an Israeli born kid I had. He got that from his father. I knew his father here for about 5 years. I had to tell him that if I ever heard his son Allen say anything like that again he was off the team.

Never heard it again and I could see they all got a long while playing. I had a very good kid from Kuwait. If he got frustrated made a bad play he would say shit out loud. He gets booked by an official because the official thought he said it to him. I asked him how do you say it in Arabic he told me. I said if you feel the urge to say it again say it in your language. I would hear him say it every so often he never got a yellow for it after that smile

Incidently, they supposed to pray 5 times a day. If they are working or if praying interfere with school work. They could condense those prayers to three times a day.

They could pray in the morning 2 times before they go. One during the day and the other 2 when they go home at night.

So people would never actually see them pray.

On gay bars a lot of the money to start these places were from organized crime. I would say most of the gay bars in NY on the west side were owned by people in organized crime.

Good to see you Uncle Binnie.

I think the latest events have strengthened Trump's image. Everyone who disagreed with him before, or regarded him an idiot, has to now admit that some of Trump's main extreme stances are grounded in fact.

I don't think we will be able to ban assault weapons in the U.S. Believe it or not, the 2nd Amendment crowd actually only cares about themselves. We see an act of carnage like in Orlando, and we want to take assault weapons out of the hands of the public. The 2nd Amendment crowd sees it, and their paranoia is magnified. They want to buy more weapons to protect themselves in any "active shooter" situation. And if anyone doubts what I just said, why is the news now reporting that in the aftermath of Orlando, gun company stocks are now up approx 10%?

Want to stop these incidents. Ask the NRA what they think should be done to stop it. Hilliary will never do that, but Thrump would.

An AR-15 is NOT an assault rifle. It is a semiautomatic rifle. Period.

BTW, I can buy this that works with a Glock 9mm. Guess we should ban Glocks too?

The shooter didn't use an AR15. It was a Sig Sauer MCX.

I sold guns for 20 yrs I'm a believer in the 2nd amendment, but.....

the heat will be intensified over this massacre....

I don't know the answer, but banning guns will

never work, a ban will create the largest black market this country has ever seen. you can count on that.

Its illegal to carry a firearm into a bar, even with a concealed permit. Let me tell you anti-gun folks a little something. I work in an icu and last week I had a pt who looked like wwe's the undertaker. This fucking guy wouldnt leave the hospital to go to a psych ward. It took the presence of two cops, all of the hospital security, and all the male nurses to get him to go without violence. He was batshit crazy. After he left, I thought to myself: if I was sitting at a traffic light with my family and this guy came up to us and became violent, he could kill us all with his bare hands. Due to the fact I'm not naive and my grandfather taught me to respect guns from a young age, my 38 special would come in handy. What happened when alcohol was prhohibited? We're Americans and guns, alcohol, and greed are in our blood. If you don't like the fact that Bill Gates is a billionaire and you drive a Daewoo, maybe we should become communists. I was watching Pawn Stars and this guy brought in an old rifle that they used to shove in anything they could to make shrapnel. It was used for crowd control. Imagine the damage one of those fuckers could do.

blue, one of my friends was shot by a tweaker shooting a .45 in a freaking hospital!! All because he was high and was booted from the place. Luckily the cops came in around the same time or he would killed quite a few as well. Luckily he killed no one and he himself was killed by the cops, but not after he shot 3.

It was before my time, but the state run psych facilities were shut down. It wasn't because mentally unfit members of society were miraculously cured. Now all the cooks are blended into society and supposedly stable when on their meds. News flash: sane people dont always take their meds. So many stories never make it to the news of crazy people committing murder and the same goes for the sane ones. "You dont need guns, there are police to protect you." Lol. In reference to the undertaker, the cops they sent out were not the 20'something year old juice heads I was hoping for. These fat fucks would've been slaughtered. As for assault rifles: fully auto firearms have been outlawed for quite some time. You can put a 30 round magazine on just about anything nowadays. Sorry to hear about your friend Dix. Maybe its it's just different here in the south. its not like I ride around on my bicycle with the Ak strapped to my back. I like my guns.

12 million AR 15's have been sold in America. 11,999,999 were not used for killing anyone last Sunday.

Every week, our local paper runs stories just like that one. Plenty of hospital staff injured.

Is much easier and more convenient for the left to make this about gun control than radical Islam.

Yes, they are all about their political agenda. They don't even care about kids. If they did instead of aborting them they would put them in orphanages.

That why they want to blame the mother for a zoo keeper killing the gorilla an animal.

Hey let them take away the guns from people who obey the law. I still will have mine.

I think Hilliary will win the election. Then there will no longer be anymore problems with mass shooting. Everyone will have a job. The US will be great and no one will hate anyone ever again. smile

I unfortunately live in an apt so no. My parents house (grandpare house has before that) has had solar panels sine 1976.

I am looking at a house currently on a lot that is just under 2 acre I would consider getting them if that went down

great observation faithful, matter of fact pbs news with judy woodward retracted the news report of the shooter using an

ar-15, apologized for the error about type of rifle. and clarified it was indeed a sig- sauer military rifle. it was as you stated a sig-sauer military rifle, funny how all media broadcast it was a ar-15.

don't they ever check the news reports, before reporting them?

you had the right information, to bad the major media didn't.

Yet we give Pakistan real weapons of war no one says shit about that.

Yeah, it wasn't an assault rifle, what a fuck up by the media, it was only the Sig Sauer mcx he used so let's not talk about gun control.....you guys are on another fucking planet completely, honestly. You carry a gun and your a always only a conversation away from either getting shot or naively killing somebody..btw what do you guys do when you go abroad (if you ever do), how do you "protect" yourself? Unfortunately (but fortunately), gun laws will tighten very severely over the the next few years so get used to it...common sense always eventually prevails..just takes a good few massacres first

I understand the argument about the second ammendment, and I'm sure if I was an American I would own a gun. However I do not understand or see how Republicans and NRA are trying to stop a ban on people on terror watch lists buying firearms, this is ludicrous and just common sense!!!

I guess if you have 100% trust in government to never be corrupt or not make mistakes.

But, if you believe in innocent till proven guilty than this becomes a problem.

Sure, there's probably a lot of very suspicious people on the terrorist watch list. But there's probably people that are on there or maybe on there in the future that are completely innocent and how could you take rights and restrict somebody that hasn't actually committed a crime? So you're saying if the government puts you on a list, that's it.
Basically punishing people that may be innocent.

The criteria for getting on the list seems super vague, so it's easy to see how many innocent people are on the list and of course without even knowing.

Aside from that, if the government actually had evidence that a person truly is a danger to the public, and are in fact a threat, then banning them from buying firearms legally isn't enough to stop any terrorist attack.

So Aslong as the terrorist is free in society, they will still eventually find weapons, guns, bombs, box cutters, whatever and carry out an attack. If they are truly hell bent on it.

It's not like they will show up to the gun store, get denied and then give up for good.
