MANHATTAN, N.Y. -- The jury in the trial of four Bonanno mob suspects is entering its fourth day of deliberations Tuesday in state Supreme Court in Manhattan.

Anthony (Skinny) Santoro, 52, of Great Kills, and his alleged Bonanno co-defendants -- Vito Badamo, 53, Nicholas Santora, 73, and Ernest Aiello, 36 -- are accused of enterprise corruption, including loansharking, gambling and drug dealing after authorities say they busted the family's nine-man crew in July 2013.

After a week-long adjournment, the panel continued deliberations Monday. The jurors asked to see evidence pertaining to the illegal gambling site, allaction247.com, that Santoro allegedly ran. They also asked to see the vouchers pertaining to the search warrant executed at Santoro's Tanglewood Drive residence in Great Kills.

Authorities collected seven firearms, several rounds of ammunition, 24 Viagra pills, $45,000 in cash and nine bags of marijuana found in several safes hidden throughout the home, the prosecution alleges.

Anthony (Skinny) Santoro, the alleged Staten Island Bonanno mobster, has been portrayed with these conflicting -- yet fascinating -- personalities.

The jurors had deliberated for two days before the break. During their brief discussions, they had questions about venue and the loansharking charge.

The panel was charged with the different elements constituting enterprise corruption, grand larceny in the second-degree and first-degree criminal usury.

The state claims Santora, who is nicknamed "Captain Crunch," is the crime family's ringleader. The prosecution says he was in charge of an Internet gambling site, sold prescription drugs, such as oxycodone and Viagra, on the black market, and the other three defendants were his underlings.

Good sign for the defense, I'd say. That's the typical thought anyway. The quicker the verdict, more likely to be guilty.

I'm sure there were a lot of behind the scenes politics on this case. It being in Manhattan doesn't make much sense.

The foreman, Evan Stone, read out the verdict. Well hung jury.

I invoke my right under the 5th amendment of the United States constitution and decline to answer the question.

The jurisdiction portion of this case is so strange. If it was federal this would obviously not be an issue.

MANHATTAN, N.Y.-- After four days of deliberations, the jury in the trial of four Bonanno mob suspects did not reach a verdict Tuesday.

Anthony (Skinny) Santoro, 52, of Great Kills, and his alleged Bonanno co-defendants -- Vito Badamo, 53, Nicholas Santora, 73, and Ernest Aiello, 36 -- are accused of enterprise corruption, including loansharking, gambling and drug dealing, after authorities reportedly busted the family's nine-man crew in July 2013.

On Tuesday, the jurors asked for several pieces of evidence. They requested to see all the photos from the trial, the vouchers from all the executed search warrants, and asked to hear calls involving Badamo, Santoro, and Nicholas Bernhard, one of the other five co-defendants who pleaded guilty.

The panel also heard a car-bug call between Badamo and alleged Bonanno boss Santora. They also wanted to see the phone books and vouchers from Santora's home search.

They then asked for a read back of James "Louie" Tartaglione's entire testimony on Wednesday morning. Tartaglione, the state's key witness against the defendants, is a former Bonanno capo turned snitch who testified that he knew Santora and Badamo from their time in the Bonanno family.

It's not a federal case.

santora walks. Santoro gets convicted on some charges they found guns and drugs he will do time either way and i think he will get convicted on the gambling charges aswell. Badamo and aiello might end in a hung jury or might be convicted on minor charges.

the case against santora is ridiclous i will be surprised if he gets convicted the whole thing against him is weak

thats what i think will happen i will probably be wrong never can tell with a jury

Agree. Remember the uncle Joe trial a few yrs back took like 2 weeks but that was federal. I think it will be a mixed bag. Think this old guy capo crunch walks or rolls always in his chair.
