Apart from Miami and Las Vegas, are there any parts of the United States deemed "open territories" by the LCN, meaning any family can set up shop independently without interference from the other families?

Giacomo, Isn't Connecticut split 3 ways between the Westside, Gambinos and Patriarch families?

The Bonannos, Colombos Luccheses also have things going up there but on a small level compared to Boston, Gambinos, and Genovese families.

Pretty much all of the States is open territory these days I presume, apart from the NY, Philadelphia, Boston, Detroit and Chicago metropolitan areas..

That's basically the case. The LCN really isn't national in scope anymore, and a lot of families are gone, so the old territorial lines often don't apply now.

Only the NY families have a significant presence in the Miami/South Florida area. Las Vegas and other western cities are too far removed from where most of the mob remains so nobody has a significant presence there at this point.

The Gambinos and Genovese are the main players in Connecticut today. There actually have only been a few Patriarca cases in the state over the past 15 years. From what I can tell, there is little to no involvement of the three smaller NY families.

When the embargo will end in Cuba for sure the mob will try a comeback.

How? Even if they had the resources, the Castro regime is still in power. There's nothing for them there anyway. Look nearby areas places like Costa Rica and Panama. That's where you'll find the mob (their offshore gambling websites).

If there is money to be made in Cuba, I am sure connected guys will try and find away. The Mob already has interests in nearby island near Cuba, plus the Bahamas.

Raul Castro is a moderate. Why do you think the embargo was lifted? The island is going to be full of Starbucks and McDonalds in 10 years.

Wall Street completely took over Vegas, as evidenced by the fact that it costs 10 dollars to park in your own driveway now. In the mob days everything was free. They knew they'd get your money at the tables. [Robert De Niro voice]
