Have you guys ever heard about Eddie Mannix from MGM back in the day? Fascinating guy. He was known to have mob ties but I can't really find out specifics on that. I assume he was tied to Chicago since they had a hand in the movie business back then. Check out this article. Mannix, is the reason that people say that the Juws run Hollywood. His mob affiliation was to the Kosher mafia first and the Genovese crime family second. That is not to say he did not have connections to other crime families. He was from New Jersey and was involved in Liquor, gambling, and prostitution before he moved to Hollywood. He may have been a hitter, but he had some heavy hitters around him.
