Finally got a job im gonna like. Assistant sports writer for a local paper. Im gonna ask the tough questions that everyone else is afraid to ask. Im going to get to the bottom of all the stories. No political correctness amd no holds barred.
The high school girls soft ball team will be not be handled with kid gloves, im going in hard and getting the full story if it kills me..

That's what gets me with our local paper. It looks like a 3rd grader wrote the sports stories. Misspelled words, etc. it's bad.

I just interviewed our local high school basketball coach and i asked him point blank- " are you giving these young ball players steroids? " he got mad and walked away but i gotta tell you, he may be hiding something. Why not a yes or no answer? I have a friend that owns a bakery and one of the cheerleaders work there, im going to try and get to her and ask her some questions that the coach refuses to answer. I have a column to write.
This story could be huge.

Just don't alienate yourself. He could have been offended that you even asked it, I know I would have if I was ever asked when I coached baseball. Of course I would have probably just laughed and walked off.

Just make sure you have even a hint of a reason to ask things like that though, you don't want the rep that you are nuts if you're wrong.
