to be fair the guy he loaned 200k to i think the father gambled it all the guy said he was going to use it for his restaurent i have little sympathy for the guy i mean you take a 300k from a mobster what do you expect if it goes wrong and you let your father gamble it away

Eventually, Serpico said things “went bad” at the dealership. He said he “owed everybody money,” and he realized his father had been gambling it away. After his encounter with Davis, Serpico said he did everything he could to raise cash to pay off the debt to Davis.
