Does anyone have info on the old Omaha Crime Family? I like doing research on the smaller more non recognized crime families, so if anyone has info it would be appreciated. Thank You.

In terms of a formally structured and recognized LCN family, I don't think one ever existed there.

I have read the family was lead by a guy named Anthony J. Biase.

I know there's that American Mafia article but even that doesn't necessarily seem to be saying there was a formally structured and recognized family there. And even if it was, it would be the only source I'm aware of. You can look at the lists below, some of which have ones that never had a real family, and they don't have Omaha. For the record, there was also the Newark family that was absorbed in the early years. Same for San Diego - absorbed by LA post-Prohibition. And Bill Bonanno talked about a family in Birmingham early on. But he's the only source on that.

Tony Biase did have his own criminal group, but it wasn't Cosa Nostra. He did have Cosa Nostra associates. Here's a couple links for more:

Biase was an associate of KC. KC had dispatched a couple guys to run things up there, John Costanza and Pat "Blink" Obrien. Blink was owner of several bars blown up in the Quey war.

I haven't researched Omaha to say for certain, but it was connected to the Genovese Family, to KC and to Chicago. It wasn't its own Family. I wouldn't put much stock in an old geocities-reocities site that has no documentation. A lot of that could be guilt by association and leaping to unwarranted conclusions.
