One thing that I found strange watching The Sopranos, is how Adriana LaCerva has literally fucking fear when the FBI threatened her, for two bags of coke, to get twenty y for drug dealing.

Now, Adriana has grown with the wiseguys, knows this world, but it isn't a stupid and certainly has no criminal record; assuming that the FBI succeeded in take her to court, with the best lawyers that both the boyfriend Chris, both Tony will gave her because Adriana is a Apriles relative (jackie sr nephew,I don't forget) . And even with an ill-disposed judge couldn't get that 3-4 years with 1 in prison and the rest on probation.

Why Adriana is so submissive?
Whyit become the FBI's bitch ?

In fact, the woman of a mobster would call the lawyer who uses her boyfriend and / or clan; Also many women are not afraid of the crime the police or the prison.

But is my opinion.

Tell me what do you think ?

I think many people overrate Adriana's street smarts and intelligence in regards to the mob. She wasn't exactly a mob wife of 15 and something years like Carmela or Rosalie to know what's what. Besides, why would she know anything about how much coke would get her in jail for? I don't imagine Christopher, or any of the mobsters she was around ever talking about such things with her.

I don't think that Adriana would be savvy enough to immediately think of contacting Chris's lawyer, seeing as that would fit the aforementioned experienced mob wife, and Christopher was hardly more than a two-bit hood even when he got his button.

Also, most people are not very keen on spending time in prison, no matter how little it may be. Being with a mobster doesn't prepare you for that.

I disagree with the idea that she isn't stupid. I think they made it pretty clear throughout the seasons that she wasn't too bright. She wasn't that street smart and was naive plus she was with Christopher, after all.

She was NOTHING like Carmela intelligence wise.

I know that adriana is not smart as Carmela, or he wouldn't be with Christopher. But even if I'm caught with two bags of cocaine, although I get sentenced, since I have no criminal record, don't risk 20 years.Maybe some year in a minimum security prison, or perhaps social services or whatever.

If at the beginning Adriana is scared, then at cool head, because it's not intelligent but not demented, talking with Tony and would contact a lawyer etc.

I think that Adriana wanted to convince Christopher to enter the WITSEC, but unfortunately he did a bad end (maybe).

I think the last thing you should do when FBI brings you in and demands your cooperation is to go to your mob boss family friend and tell him about it. Do you think Tony would react any differently than he did when he found out?

I remember Adrianna saying she used to be afraid of Tony. Turns out, maybe for good reason.

Yeah part of this whole thing was that she did dream about convincing
Christopher about entering the WITSEC. He always sent her mixed messages when he would get drunk and yell about Tony. She figured he was so unhappy in the mob that he might actually flip.

Adriana wasn't a jockstrap for the vagina like treece the strippers, was the wife of Christopher Moltisanti a capo, and nephew of dead boss.

Go to Tony after the FBI wanted to force you to cooperate, would be seen as a sign of respect for Tony, something like : "Tony, I respect you and the family, and I won't flip, never, but you must help me,"
Tony: "sure Adriana, now I call the lawyer, you stay out of Jersey, until I, chris and the lawyer, don't resolve the situation "

It's my opinion.

It's more like "Tony, I respect you and the family, and I won't flip, never, but you must help me,"
and then Tony replies "sure Adriana, now I call the lawyer, you stay out of Jersey, until I, chris and the lawyer, don't resolve the situation "

and then has her killed anyway because he's not gonna take a chance that she might actually flip.

And I don't think she could leave Jersey. The FBI basically said, cooperate with us or you'll be arrested.

The point is, Adriana wanted out and she wanted to get out with Christopher, together. She's not going to accomplish that by siding with the mob, the one thing she was trying to run away from.

Yeah exactly.

And the best thing for her to do would be to keep her mouth shut from the beginning and not make any statements to the Feds at all.
If some kind of charges did come against her, then it's time to lawyer up or she should've asked for a lawyer day one and said nothing.
If I remember right, Chrisopher told her far too much about his business and conflicts within the mob which put them both in more danger. Guys like Tony and Silvo barely told their wives anything at all that would compromise them.

They preyed on her weaknesses. Which is the part I found realistic about the situation.

She flipped far too easy in my opinion..

Or Adriana was too coward or he really want to go in the WITSEC but at the end don't have the balls to rat on her friends and was killed.

If say no to FBI,call the lawyer and maybe go to trial, will be safe.
