Why didn't he go outside after the end of Season 3 would've been better to have seen him at that diner with Murf and Beppy more often meeting Tony there etc rather than staying cooped up in that house

I agree Mikey should have been around longer but keep in mind that nobody knew the places this show would go when the plot was developed for the first season. But junior on the street would have made the series so much better if that's possible.
I'm sure they already had a story in place for season 2 so he was always intended to be killed off..

they wasted alot of characters, season 4 was a bore, until 5 brought in tony B and feech, and the rest of the fellas that got outta jail, scenes between feech and paulie were hilirious
