Why was Patty Testa killed? Who killed him?

He was allegedly killed because casso and amuso were unsure of his loyalty to them , frank lastorino was the alleged shooter

I read it was casso that gave the order to Lastorino. The kid seemed as loyal as they come. Maybe casso thought Testa was much more loyal to Amuso and not him?

Yeah i'd read somewhere he was very close with Amuso. Shame Casso went on a man with the exploding head mission to wipe out all his loyal amico's.

I've wondered this myself. I've always put it down to Casso's sheer nut-baggery.

His brother Joey seemed a right nut-bag himself. That smiley mugshot of his has always given me the creeps.

Rumor 1 was Casso thought he was a rat

Rumor 2 was Casso killed him to blame the Gambinos and have a reason to kill Junior Gotti. Hard for me to believe Casso needed to kill one of his guys to have an excuse to kill anyone.

Rumor 3 Casso killed him to cut off Amuso aand take over as boss.
