Nannicola Bingo Supply, the nations largest distributor of bingo supplies was just raided by the state and feds. Frank Nannicola, son in law to deceased Pittsburgh Mob Consigliere Charles "Charlie Murgie" Imburgia, is the owner of the company. I believe his son runs the company now.

The company has always been under surveillance since Charlie Imburgia was the father in law of Frank Nannicola. The Pittsburgh mob used the tri-state bingo games to skim hundreds of thousands of dollars:

I'm sure Charlie is spinning in his grave. I can't believe his name-sake grand-son would risk their multi million dollar bingo supply business for a few $100k income with video games. My Dad always said: "They waste the youth on the young".

A Million is still a million no matter what the bingo supply was doing . They are already back up and running offering people 4k a week to put your name on the paper work. To run parlors

Yeah they probably figured it was worth the risk , or it wasn't illegal . Guess the casinos want to wipe out the competition

To much money being made , sorry I didn't mean to imply that about the bingo boys specifically . But I know that is defiantly the case around the state paying for clean names to run it a few times removed .

I'm sure that is the way it's now being done, however these other "operators" don't enjoy the millions coming in from their bingo business.

Again A million is still A million. No matter what you have. They have been supplying the quasi legitimate bingo industry for years , how is this any different. A slap on the wrist if anything.

I certainly respect what you are saying. That being said I can reassure you that the very last thing Charlie would have wanted was for his family to be the focus of any investigation. We can agree that there isn't much ideological difference between the two, but only one of them drew all this unwanted attention.

A million is certainly a million, especially for us regular folks, but for these folks it's just another million ;-)

Then why not just shutdown the business of money doesn't matter ? The bingo supply is A total separate entinty and has nothing to do with the machines . They are the ones making the machines and putting them on the street ! The Feds probably took there records to see where they all went . Maybe looking for big cash grab or Rico perhaps ?

it makes me laugh that stuff like this is really illegal and feds and other agencies put time and money into disrupting them.. at the same time I wish I owned one of those companies.. good money to be made.. both legally and illegally.

Youngstown native Ron Carabbia Jr (Ronnie the Crab's son) had a few of those "games of skill" parlors in Florida, made a killing until he was shut down. The Feds only go after theses businesses where many of these guys have tied to OC or former gambling arrests. That's over the top in federal spending and we have far too many more concerns.

The legal casinos are paying millions in taxes. They are going to push the politicians in there pockets to go after these guys.
Second its A money grab for local law enforcement. They are seizing six figures from allot of these people. You get probation and they take the cash. Assuming your not OC or had prior gambling pinches.

These are being prosecuted by the state, in Ohio the OIU investigates this stuff along with the local law enforcement of the cities where the machines are. Any cash they seize gets whacked up between them and the DA office.

So then you agree they should be shutdown and any money they made seized. maybe sent to Jail?? You say u want to open A parlor but don't want to get popped. So these machine operators face limited competition from only people willing to break the law. I think they should just make it legal for anyone who wants to put machines out there. but exclude anyone who was doing it illegaly before the new law in place.
