The Rettondon murders were the killings of three drug dealers in Essex at a farm in Rettondon, Chelmsford, the three were found dead in a Blue Range Rover classic with the registration number F424 NPE.

The dealers were Pat Tate, Tony Tucker, Craig Rolfe who worked for the Organization run my Drug lord Mickey Steele (one of the alleged killers).


There are currently 3 theories towards the murders
-Mickey Steele and Essex hitman Jack Whomes killed them which they have been tried and convicted for but still proclaim their innocence to this day

-They were killed by rival drug dealers

-Vigilante Police officers killed them after they escaped many convictions linking the police is also the father of a girl named Leah Betts, a girl who Pat Tate gave ecstasy tablets too, whose father was a police officer who now does anti drug talks


My theory
I reckon after the escaped convictions of the 3, police officers hatched a plan where they pulled the Range Rover over to the farm entrance (the alledged reason Tate, Tucker and Rolfe were there was because of a drug deal), whilst distracted police officers disguised with masks and armed with shotguns killed the 3 in the car, later on through the use of an informant (petty criminal Darren Nicholls who was the apparent driver for Steele and Whomes), had Steele and Whomes convicted on charge of murder which completely shattered the drug empire in Essex for a while and tbh if my theory is correct I do not blame the officers involved.

Bumping this thread as just re-watched Rise of the foot soldier again. Think its far-fetched to think police did it, however do not believe Whomes and Steele did it.
On a side note, been reading and watching a lot on Kenneth Noye (Pat Tate met him in prison) hands down for me one of the most feared, rich and respected British Gangsters ever.

The wrong guys are in jail for this, they upset certain old school east end people and paid the price, allegedly..

yeah, i have serious doubts as to the guilt of STEELE & WHOMES.
The three who got killed came across as absolute fuckers and bullies of the worst type. What was their big scams . Robbing drug dealers

They alledgedly ripped off the wrong firm from Canning Town and were executed by them for there troubles
