I can't wait. It looks great from the first trailer. I haven't seen "Crazy Heart" so I really don't know how good of a director this guy is. I guess we'll see. Depp could take an Oscar with this performance.

I've watched this trailer about 50 times. From what I can see from this scene, his acting looks incredible. The Boston accent doesn't seem forced, and that laugh scares me more than most horror movies. The whole thing reminds me of the GoodFellas seen "funny how? like a clown, like I amuse you?"

Looks good. And even though Depp looks like Darth Sidious, I take him serious with these roles ever since he did a magnificant job playing Donnie Brasco.

From the 3 trailers it seems to be very well cast. Even though Cumberbatch really doesn't match the short, stalky Irishman that was Billy Bulger, I've heard he's very talented so he'll probably be ok. This definitely could be Oscar worthy for Depp.
