So, in 2013 there was an attempted murder on this guy: http://nypost.com/2013/06/01/admitted-mafia-member-survives-attempted-mob-hit-in-east-harlem/

Now Capeci is saying that he's meeting with top Bonnano bosses in Bayside. So was the shooting really a mob hit? A random act of violence? The kid who administered the bullet is obviously black/hispanic based on the photo.

Random, spur of the moment beef, in a horrible neighborhood. Right by the car wash on 109th Street, near the 1st Avenue projects (I'm only being so specific because of your history of being a mail carrier in NYC, Flushing). It had nothing to do with the street.

As an aside, it was the projects in that area that turned East Harlem from a blue-collar Italian-American safe haven into the cesspool it is today.

That's what I was thinking, too. Thanks PB.

Enzo is the coolest name. So did mike nose order the shooting. I could see why people are made the boss has five more years in the can might be less. Guess he's in Danbury less then a hour to the bx. Shit they must have 100 guys on the street.

That shooting had as much to do with the street as a Muslim terrorist has to do with a Passover Seder.

No way he walks out the boss. No fucking way.

There are more Bonannos in Danbury FCI than there are left in the Bronx.

Overall? Yeah, that's feasible.

Here in the Bronx? I doubt there are ten. And eight of them are associates.

Found this on "aboutthemafia". First result of a google search.

Quote:
Tensions continue to mount between the Bonanno crime family and the Lucchese crime family in New York after a failed mob hit. The two New York Mafia families are locked in an ongoing feud linked to the Bonanno family efforts to recruit more wiseguys in an attempt to rebuild their ranks without consulting the other New York mob families according to sources. Alleged Bonanno family soldier Enzo “The Baker” Stagnoof Queens was struck in the chest as he sat in his SUV making a call. He sustained only a graze wound as he felt a pinch on his chest and then dived into the back seat avoiding being hit by a second shot. He spotted the shooter walking away from scene and a witness reported seeing the shooter jumping into a yellow cab. Stagno denied having mob ties before finally admitting to authorities that he was a made man in the Bonanno family and he indeed had enemies on the streets.

Wtf is wrong with mob websites these days...this isn't the 1950s.

But they wish it was. They can only dream of having the stories that Breslin and Hamill had to write about. Journalism's dead. Blame the Internet, or whatever, but it's dead just the same.

Seamus was the family mutt. My friend whose not Italian named his kid carmine that always makes me laugh. His baby mom's is pRican. This guy mike nose killed his wife so he has a temper. That guy cicale calls him a pussy and this and that knowing the guys in jail for years. I wonder if any of the heavys are real violent like casso was. Shit that guy Anthony spero order a death cause they broke into his daughters home. Violence is bad for biz but there must be a phyco capo out there. Andy Russo after the gambinos staged a Colombo wanted blood even after the gambino paid for his medical shit.

You know I was busting balls, right?

One thing you have to know about Throggs Neck is that it's a VERY blue collar, Irish-Italian-German area. But make no mistake, Throggs Neck is predominantly Irish, no matter how many wiseguys live here. Now, Country Club, which is right next door, is predominantly Italian.

My point is, I've been drinking in Irish bars all my life. And there's a bartender named Seamus in every one of them. These are some of my dearest friends, kiddo. Blue collar, cops and firemen, bookies and Priests, and all of them family minded people.
