I was reading a post about mobster in prison stories. My question is: how is the day by day of Cosa Nostra soldiers, captains and bosses inside the prison? I know it isn't like the 70's as Goodfellas portrays but I wanna get more informationa bout 'em in correctional facilities.

Well according to Lou Ferante, he was doing time with Vic Orena & they just sit around bullshitting all day.. Simply because he said thread nothing else to do

There's not much to think of, they play cards, watch tv, try to get a hook on the kitchen guy for extra food etc. Nothing spectacular

except in the case of those like Vincent Basciano is in a maximum security prison, he is just an hour of air, with regard to the boss, I can tell that I read that when Carmine Persico had ordered an inmate a to stand up for make him sit was sent to fuck off while with chin gigante, inmates stand up soon as they saw him coming.

And what about Cosa Nostra influences in correctional facilities? All of them are protected by AB, la eMe and prison gangs?

it's all about money in prison. if they're capo's they probably live pretty good assuming they make money and pay off the guards. it's not what it once use to be no but money still gets you alot of stuff in prison. they survive in prison that is forsure as hell.

there is loads of wiseguys in prison in new york dont really need protection.

In the book about charles carneligia apparently there was nearly 30 guys in the prison he was in the early 2000s and they spend the entire time eating and playing cards

apparently they dont assoiate with other groups.

Think about it why would they need protection? they dont get involved in drugs or even speak to other groups they keep to themselves and they are strong enough to defend themselves and it is rare (yes i know it happens but it is rare compared to other groups) when a wiseguy gets beaten

nicky c and lenny d had these guards on 500 a week bringing in steaks and wine that was in 2008

Not connected with scott or anyone at gangsterreport

Sorry for the confusion
