What did Nicky jr. bring to the table or what did Nicky sr give the Luccheses(Amuso) to make/protect Nicky jr. Does anyone think it was just a favor.

Serp there some cool pics of amuso and scarfo. And for being close to 90 scarfo in good health fucking big smile lime he ain't been in jail 30 years. He got a pic with all the luchese jersey guys tacetta perna in his kids trial scarfo called them all rats and sent his kid paperwork. Jr was there capo at the time he must be hated but he never getting out so . I never really look at amuso n scarfo as serial killers cause they kill other gangsters who would do it to them. But cause there's rules in the lcn you can't touch someone higher then you. Like Louie dibono new he was in shit when Sammy becomes consig. They had almost death beef 10 years before and he seen what happens to all the other guys Sammy didn't like. I bet on everything gotti also a serial killer regretted killing dibono. That's was all Sammy and that guy db. Gotti got nothing out of it.then Sammy turns wonder if he was ever sorry. Like in amuso case that guy Bruno in Brooklyn it came out in the cops trial he never informed

I am going to go with DB on this one, Gambling and Shy action in North Jersey is an extremely lucrative racket. I bet Luchesse's obtained a piece of some gambling or shy action from the Philly North Jersey crew.

Remember,Little Nicky was still on good terms with the North Jersey Philly LCN crew at the time, don't forget this. Therefore, I wouldn't be surprised if Little Nicky for example may have had his Newark based Capo at the time hand over a sports betting agent or two who held large sports betting packages over to the Lucheesse's AGAIN FOR EXAMPLE. This wouldn't surprise me, you have to remember with these guys there is absolutely no honor amongst thieves!

Pmac I hear ya, I have seen other pic of him through the years .The funny thing he makes the best out of the worst. He almost had a real big smile if everything he wanted would have come through. He was definitely living through Jr and a few of his old guard. He even put some trust in some of the NY North Jersey guys hence calling them all rats. There was a lot going on for being locked up this day and age.
The little guy almost got what he wanted..
The real truth to all that will not come out till someone flips.
The guys that were in on it are sweating cos there were many, and it still my be going on in a other manner.
But it was going on ....

I am just hypothetically and logically putting together the pieces here, but what was Nicky Jr indicted for in the 1990s in Newark area!?!?!..........SPORTS BETTING. It was the case were the government used "Key Logger" surveillance on Nicky Junior's computers to indict him for sports betting.

NEW JERSEY: The son of jailed mob boss Nicodemo "Little Nicky" Scarfo and another man have been indicted on charges of running a gambling and loan-shark business.
Alleged Philadelphia mob soldier Nicodemo "Nick" Scarfo Jr., 35, and Frank Paolercio, 31, were partners in Merchants Services, of Belleville, N.J., where authorities said the sports gambling business operated. Merchants Services sells and leases credit-card-transaction machines to businesses.
Scarfo was in jail until July 1998, serving a 13-month sentence for pulling a knife, threatening, and attempting to stab William Morton, the manager of the Deja Vu bar, in Atlantic City, on March 24, 1996. Scarfo was on parole at the time after pleading guilty to state racketeering charges for possession of gambling devices.
The judge set bail at $75,000 for Scarfo. Poalercio's bail was set at $100,000.

Yea Dante it is wild that he was able to make money like he did.
LE was looking to get him on J walking cos of his name,it is like a hunter getting the trophy mount.
Think about it you become a cop and hunt human beings, you go in the academy a nice well liked guy and in the process they tell you that once you become LE that no one will like you and you can not associate with regular folk cos it could interfere with your job or case. Then you come out thinking that only other LE and there wifes can only be your and your children's friends. Most become automatic dicks and will change there old friends right away.
But Nicky jr was a very good earner just the stuff that LE knows about ,can you imagine what they do not.
He must have been a good skipper he was not a micro manager far from it so his guys must of liked it(even if they did not say it)cos of him being an outsider. The thought of him earning like he did even pissed off the guys around him even more .
The silver spoon thing hurt him also,Perna was around AC and his crowd and Skinny V Iannece T Scafidi and many more but that was when his dad was on top,as soon as the old man knock down a few of the Philly guys some turned on him then (but never said a word)but when his pop took the last pinch they were like sharks.

Scoops licata( north jersey philly guy) and some of the others took him up to north jersey and took care of him. Scoops was very tight with mike perna so scarfo and amuso agreeing to transfer scarfo jr was very easy to work out. Ironic since Amuso wanted the jersey lucchese guys killed( perna included), but it didnt matter. Scarfo was still powerful as was amuso.
The fact that scarfo jr was demoted tells you all the lucchese strength is up in the bronx where Amuso now means nothing. Well, almost nothing.
The jersey lucchese guys are basically bookies whereas Crea is making trillions in construction. You think Crea is locked in an office taken bets and then chasing people for money??? Lol

Yeah scoops is almost entirely bookmaking and probably some ticket scalping and counterfeit foods

My guess would be they both have huge packages

The real ? That I don't know is who bankrolled that book

It could have been Any number of L or WS

I have my suspicions but that book is huge and I mean huge

I would not be surprised if that book handles 9 figures at least and possibly more a year

Your talking long long term WG in the same area . Not much jail time and kidsthat bring that much more customers . It keeps growing and growing and growing

I'd say 15% of the NJ population east of east Hanover gambles regularly . It's so big they didn't have to do anything else but the kids got mixed up with financing opiates and really didn't have to . I'm sure they are done with that

Either way Mike comes home soon , Ralph is probably holding that trial up until Mike gets home to run it . Talk about a nice get out of jail present and R has the horses to keep everyone in NJ in line .

Was always curious how much they work with WS, I have no idea but have a guess

I'm pretty sure it was Casso that wanted NJ dead and guess why ? Cause they make tons of money in book , so big why bother with anything else , it's really that big but not even the Feds know who bankrolled it , just who had the huge packages which in all honestly isn't much . I don't blane R one bit , never should be be threatened with 15, 2-3 is even a stretch IMO.

I doubt they even have much evidence on him outside his people on the phone and rats he never met , he probably smart and calling their bluff and hard tactics at the moment . With all the $ spent and all the unsolved murders in Newark . The Feds are once again wasting a ton of resources . Offer him a 3 year plea and end this already, just a huge waste of resources , huge when real violence is happening right outside their office . It's actually racial prejudice IMO , they care more about Italians faming than young and sometimes innocent black kids being killed every day , the FBI is about as the most racially prejudice organization you will find in this country

Who says Scarfo gave Amuso anything?

Amuso got a stand up valuable piece of manpower who by all reports was an earning machine (bumped to captain).

What boss could want more than a stand up earner in this day and age?

MORGAN: Why didn't you fight him at the park if you wanted to? I'm not goin' now, I'm eatin' my snack.
CHUCKIE: Morgan, Let's go.
MORGAN: I'm serious Chuckie, I ain't goin'.
WILL: So don't go.

From what I have seen and heard in and around the Newark area, Scoops and his crew are basically solely a Sportsbook, meaning all they do is handle a huge North Jersey sports gambling package and all of the corresponding agents, etc.

Again, I could be wrong and you would expect that they also have the shy business that goes hand and hand with managing a sports betting package.

Mike Perna had a very very lucrative sports gambling operation. Worth tens of millions of dollars a year from what I read. Whether that's an accurate number or not idk but I guess I would assume so.

And yes, you will not find on the internet anywhere that the youngest Perna boy went to Seton Hall and was in a fraternity.

So before some of you weirdos from towns like Casper, Ohio PM me and say stuff, yes what I said is literally the truth- I am 30 and an older friend of mine went to Seton Hall and ended up in the same fraternity as the youngest Perna boy at the Hall and I ended up meeting him via this vehicle. Anyways, what I am trying to convey is that he is the craziest and most insane person ever! He used to wake my buddy up at 5AM to go rob drug dealers in Newark when they were both at the Hall. True Story, he was a great wrestler too in HS for Belleville- toughest guy ever

Why is the fact that he went to Seton Hall supposed to be so unbelievable exactly?

Scarfo Jr. was going to get killed unless someone took him in, I'm sure Sr did something to make Amuso do this. Maybe Jr was going to deliver envelopes every so often to Amuso's family as a thank you...

You guys forget it's all about $$

He also wrestled at Seton Hall too Dante, my friend was at the same frat (most of the wrestlers were in it) as that Perna, they had those crazy Thur parties

Even in High School for the wrestling tourney, he had a mega suite in AC, hilarious as he was 17-18 maybe.

He really wasn't supposed to be in that life to my knowledge, but got drawn in from the people he hung with. Too late now as he in for good and will never be a rat.

Yes that family has and will always have a monster book, wouldn't be shocked if that case wraps up just as Mike comes home. Remember R. was never offered a plea, that IMO is what partly has held things up

Now that I think about it I used to get my sports tix in the 90s indirectly from either them or scoops, had no idea who the source was but tickets were everywhere back then and that was their area
