Wise choice. They're crazy. I have an Albanian partner in our Pelham Bay property. He's actually our super, but he's a limited partner as well because it's just good business (that part of the Bronx---Morris Park-Pelham Bay line---is heavily Albanian today).

Anyway, he's a very good friend of mine. But generally speaking, Albanians are even more xenophobic than the old Italians. They won't even look at most "outsiders."

That broad probably had ten brothers here, and another six still in Montenegro. So you're very lucky lol.

I think Veasey was French on his father's side and Sicilian on his mother's.

I invoke my right under the 5th amendment of the United States constitution and decline to answer the question.

I think Veasey was rat on his father's side and fucking crazy on his mother's.

Should probably ask Mr. Kierney. I guess if you're Italian, you should be in prison.
I've read the RICO Act, and I can tell you it's more appropriate...
for some of those guys over in Washington than it is for me or any of my fellas here

guess not.

What is so hard for you to understand? That the so called rules get bent and broken all the time? That they don't live up to some kind of Mario Puzo mythology that you have set in your head? No offense, Binnie. But the more you learn about how these guys really operate, the more disappointed you're going to be.

Money talks and bullshit walks, in that world just like in the rest of the world. The Gallos had the stomach to kill at the drop of a hat, and they were big earners. Matty and Tony both loved Albert, and on the strength of that the bosses looked the other way (No sense in speculating about Joe and Larry because those guys died young and they were a different story).

Wasn´t Frank Sheeran a official Member of Russell Bufalino´s Family?

Didn´t they get him of RICO-Charge for beeing a member?

I read the " the quite don" about buffalino, sheeran was close to him, and he did a lot of heavy work for buffalino.

but it never mentioned him being made. also sheerans book " I heard you paint houses" he never mentions being made.

but he does say he killed jimmy Hoffa.

By the way, the Gallos were not half Irish. Mary´s maiden name was Nunziato.

I'm fairly sure there was some Irish there, HK. You're a much better researcher than I am. Hell, I'm not a researcher at all. But you might want to look at Mary's Mother's maiden name.

My post was more about these guys bending the rules when it suited them than it was about the Gallos anyway.

And I agree about Sheeran. He was an asshole.

You are a GREAT asset to this site and this section PB. That is something that needs to be stressed out on a regular basis. Your knowledge and insight is second to none. Me---? I´m not a researcher, just a guy who have had an interest in reading about the Mafia for years.

As usual you miss the point. The point being that the rules are selectively enforced. But when you spend seventy years in Gooberville, I guess it's not your fault.

why the slap in the face! have I ever said anything as mean- spirited to you? ive never said anything like that to you.
I still won't. I have respect for people, no matter where there from.

maybe you need a lesson in manners, you were wrong. I got the point, but I would never insult anyone.
you do. I would appreciate it if you would lay off me.

Now for the sake of the board, and the moderators, who have known me for eight years, I'll leave it alone. I hope you'll do likewise.

jesus Christ!! I am 72 years old! and I have never been here before, and that's easy to check. the moderator can let you know, by my ip number. you can believe what you want to. but I am not lying! why in the hell would anyone lie about being 72?

if you don't like old people that's up to you. you pick on me, and another oldie footreads, it looks as if you don't like old people. let the moderators check on me, you will find I don't lie.

I don't like you either pal, you seem like a internet bully! picking on old people.

I like old people fine. I'm 55 myself and my 85 year old father means the world to me. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and pm you later on.
