I was searching for information on Colombo union involvement and came across this article from a couple of years ago, fascinating really; it highlights the level these guys go to in order to achieve a working economy of scale. Does anyone know if the Colombos retain a presence in Local 6A, or indeed in any union today?

This is one of my favorite mob stories. If this doesn't show the greedy nature of these guys nothing will.

Remaining Colombo influence in Local 6A remains to be seen but back in January 2011 an internal FBI memo reported that a representative from the Gambino family had met with a Lucchese captain and soldiers to discuss the Gambino's desire to control Local 6A.
