I hope so, but I wouldn't hold my breath. They've been doing that movie for over twenty years.

But if it does happen, I wonder where they'll film it. The West Side looks like Disneyland today.

Have no idea who I would pick for a cast. Hopefully they don't go with someone like Channing Tatum, god I hate that guy.

I could MAYBE see Ryan Gosling as Coonan. But only if he can get that dead stare down.

Featherstone....no clue.

They did. It's called "State of Grace".

Like the state of grace good movie. My one time friend was in it. It was made by Tri Star Pictures who went out of business. Tri star was supposed to pay the taxes that the actors oued on their parts. They did not so all the actors oued back taxes on their pay they received from the movie

"State of Grace" was a very good movie. But 1990 was the year of the gangster film revival ("Goodfellas," "Godfather III," "Miller's Crossing," etc.), and it was completely overshadowed by them.

State of Grace was a very good movie, Oldman, Harris, and Penn were good in it. If English does indeed have a green light, then this movie will be worth watching, and be close to the accounts as possible.
