Good video. Aleman was a ruthless guy. I don't think anyone was feared more than he was in his day.

Kind of sad to see how in denial his daughter is but I suppose it's par for the course for mobster children.

I know I've asked this before probably, but is Aleman an Italian name? Sounds a lot like a French Creole name here in the South more than it would Italian/Sicilian.

His father was Mexican and his mother was Italian.

Allemano is an Italian name, Alemán is Spanish. They both translate to mean someone of German descent.

Harry grew up on Taylor Street near the Inendino family on Flournoy. He and his brothers were running with Jimmy I, Sammy Inendino and the Scarpelli brothers from an early age doing street crime. His father was a criminal who was in and out of prison. His wife was the widow of Frank Mustari who was a made Outfit soldier. But his claim to fame was being Joe Ferriola's nephew and confident - Ferriola used Aleman's crew to help him rise to the top of the pyramid too.

His mother's name was "Baratta" or something I believe.

I wonder if his daughter is related to Rudy Fratto given her last name "Forliano."

The excerpt below is from an interview he did in 2005. I wonder who he was talking about.

Aleman also hints at some frightening characters in his past. "You have no idea the guys in Chicago who never got their names in the newspapers and are the most f------ dangerous guys I knew," Aleman says. He declines to identify them.

Does anybody have any information on Harry Alemans father? Harry's father was Mexican; Louis Aleman and I think he was involved with the cartels.

I don't begrudge the children or wives writing books and trying to make money if they can...Its not hurting anybody !!

Remotely associated? He killed about 20 plus people for them and they employed one of their most valuable chips, Bob Cooley, to get him off, subsequently binging the whole thing down on their heads and sending everyone to prison for life.
