This could be why he tried to blow up Gotti in 86, not sure to believe he tried killing him over him whacking a boss 'cause John was a boss at that time.

I don't think they were best friends or none of that crap. I think it was just one of those deals like the 2% club or whatever it was, something that made both of them a ton of money and he was pissed that could be gone now when Gotti clipped Big Paul.

Well if Gigante didn't do anything about it, then that would set a precedent right ?? Then maybe some of his guys might start getting some bright ideas !!

Only through business. They made a lot of deals and money, but if you mean growing up, no. The farthest they go back is when Gigante got out of prison and became a capo in the Genovese crime family, while Castellano became the acting boss for the Gambino crime family, the Chin served as a messenger for the Genovese when he had to in the early 1970's and through this he made contact with Paul due to a construction deal in northern New Jersey that needed to be sorted out between the two families as both families were trying to lay claim to the contractor on the job. That is what started that relationship. When Big Paul was killed, the Chin lost an allie and a cash box, as Castellano voted in the Chin's favor and vice versa.
